Our company Power-of-Positive-Action Pty Ltd is designed around Action Intelligence (AQ©);
our methodology is applied for improving your Action Intelligence (AQ©). The Power of Positive Action© paradigm was created by one of our Co-Founders Professor Keith Kennett.

Vision: To create, collaborate and cooperate with professional bodies on applying the Power of Positive Action© paradigm to challenges faced by their members and their organisation, and to promote positive psychology to the profession, and via them and their clients, to the entire community.

Professor Kennett

A registered recognised International psychologist, was formerly an Associate Professor of Psychology in Canada visiting Professor in the USA in Alabama, Ohio and Oregon, and was formerly Dean and Professor of Education at the University of Western Sydney; previously he was a leading teacher and educator in South Australia and Canada, teaching at all levels from rural schools to PhD supervisor.

His focus is on strategic Leadership (including Governance and Social Responsibility), and professional development in organisations, especially schools.

Dr Kennett was President of the National Association for Autism and a visiting Scholar at the Ohio State University Hospital in the USA. He is a Fellow of the American Association for Integrative Medicine and Fellow of the American College of Forensic Examiners (Psychology) with a unique holistic approach

Robert Quimby

Was a former Head Teacher, Science at Galston High School, before his appointment as National Executive Director of Australian Swimming, to restructure that body to embrace a professional approach and create coaching courses and he co-founded AusSwim; and later as National Executive Director of Sports Medicine Australia, with the late Sir William Refshauge, he co-founded the Fellowship of Sports Medicine, and also created the initial Drugs in Sports program; the Fitness Leaders program with ACPHER and, the first Sports First Aid program, as the 1st Sports Trainers program for sports in Australia.

He is Life Member, International Council of Integrative Medicine(Hons) (ICIM) and member of the International Leadership Association and several national groups. His focus is on strategic HR, Leadership and ongoing professional development in Business and Education. He is an Alumni of the Australian Leadership Innovation Centre.(ALIC).

Angie Wilcock

With more than 20 years in primary teaching, Angie has invested the past four years

- developing and facilitating workshops to parents and students on transition from primary to secondary education and parent engagement in education.

- facilitating teaching staff professional development sessions on transition from primary to secondary education; and parent engagement in education; learning styles; boys and girls education; middle years education.

- as team member of Generation Next (since 2010), along with Dr Michael Carr-Gregg, Dr Andrew Fuller and others, presenting to parents nationally on issues of adolescent mental health – Angie’s topic is the impact of transition on our young people.
- presenting her work at state and national education and parent conferences, seminars and workshops.
- writing articles for state and national educational journals and education websites.

Angie supports Action Intelligence (AQ©) and Positive psychology and the importance of mentoring teachers for better management and leadership.

Edie Raether

A leading member of Power of Positive Action© International Faculty based in the USA.

Edie Raether is an International keynote speaker, author and behavioral psychology expert who has presented programs to 3,500 professional organizations and Fortune 500 companies on five continents, including numerous student, parent and teacher organizations.

An expert resource to USA Today, Reuters, NBC and most media, Edie was a community college professor and talk show host with ABC.

As a psychotherapist and family counselor, Edie has worked with children of all socioeconomic backgrounds, including New York City's most at-risk youth.
